How we are different
Most physiotherapy starts too late. Ours starts on the ward.
The window that decides how well someone recovers from a stroke, a cardiac event or major surgery opens in the first days, while they are still an inpatient. A standalone clinic cannot reach a patient then. We can, because we practise inside the hospital.
And because we also run therapy at a multispecialty hospital, a geriatric centre, a vertigo clinic, an arthroscopy surgeon's practice and a community OPD, and visit patients at home, nobody has to start again with a stranger when they are discharged. The team stays the same. Only the setting changes.

Structured rehabilitation at whichever of the five places is nearest and right for the condition.
Conditions we treat
Specialists, not generalists
Our therapists work in one field every day rather than occasionally. Neuro physiotherapists treat neurology. Ortho physiotherapists treat orthopaedics. Occupational therapists handle hand function and the activities of daily living.

The people who treat you
A team of 40, not a rota of visiting freelancers
You will be treated by a named, qualified therapist who specialises in your condition, and by the same one, session after session.

In our patients' words
Recovery is slow, and it is mostly the patient's work
These are unedited accounts from people we have treated. They name the therapists who treated them, which is the only endorsement in physiotherapy that means anything.

I have been a stroke patient for almost 5 years now. As most patients of my type will tell you, physiotherapy is usually not something we look forward to, because of the pain and effort involved and the very slow nature of progress. However, I am really grateful to the PT and OT teams at Bethany who, with their cheerful outlook but with a sense of purpose, have made my daily sessions much lighter and easy to endure. The camaraderie amongst patients too adds to the cheer.
Ketan DoshiStroke rehabilitationBeing a stroke patient, one important thing I have noticed is that any negativity around them demotivates them — they are not paralyzed by birth, they must be having a family, working, and one sudden day when they fall they need motivation to get up. So people who are working to make them stand up should be good motivators. And I am thankful to God that I got a good physiotherapy team, who were good motivators, who helped me to move ahead in my hard difficulties.
Blessy SamStroke rehabilitationMy experience of being treated at the Bethany physiotherapy department has been wonderful, treated with utmost care and professionalism. The department gives me a homely feeling and all the doctors and therapists are helpful, kind and thoughtful — even the trainees are very hard working and courteous. I wish to thank the team for their support and wish them great success.
